On March 9th, Ivan, Eleanor, Tony from CPA and Mags from NAI had a 30-minute meeting with Stephen Donnelly, Minister for Health, who understood the need for a neuro-rehabilitation team in CUH and showed he was committed to making it happen but wasn’t able to give us a timeline.

Cork South West TD Christopher O’Sullivan arranged for CPA and NAI representatives to meet with Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly to discuss the neuro-rehabilitation teams. CPA are extremely grateful to Christopher for his ongoing support.

We then moved into the AV room to meet other TDs and Senators where, CPA’s Ivan O’Regan,  gave his personal and very powerful testimonial on how a neuro-rehabilitation team, promised for CUH in 2019, and not yet delivered is impacting the lives of people with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions.
